With Florida’s annual legislative session past its halfway point, environmental groups have raised concerns about bills that they say would supercharge irresponsible growth across the state. The threat has them questioning whether this will be “the session of sprawl.”
Friends of the Everglades held an online event today about the session featuring the group’s executive director, Eve Samples, along with VoteWater Executive Director Gil Smart, Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation Policy Director Matt DePaolis and 1000 Friends of Florida Policy and Planning Director Jane West.
