As we enter 2025, it’s a good time to reflect on what has driven progress in addressing the climate crisis so far. At the core of every significant advancement, we find one key ingredient: leadership. True leadership is the spark that turns ideas into action, the driving force that creates ripples of positive change far beyond the immediate sphere of influence.
Leadership is about stepping up, often before the path is clear, and inspiring others to follow. It’s about motivating people, organizations and communities to embrace innovation and take action.
While we need transformation across every corner of society, it’s ultimately up to individuals and organizations to take responsibility and make it happen. Leadership doesn’t wait for the perfect moment; it creates momentum where none existed.
Effective climate leaders approach the crisis with a clear strategy. They set bold goals and back them up with meaningful action. They advocate for systemic change, ensuring their voices are heard where it matters most. And they display a commitment to tangible results. These qualities define what it means to lead on climate.
This is why the theme for our 2025 Climate Correction conference is “Leaders in Action.” VoLo Foundation’s flagship annual event has become a hub for exploring innovative solutions to the climate crisis, bringing together diverse perspectives from across sectors to drive meaningful progress.
The urgency of our climate challenges has never been clearer. Communities worldwide are grappling with the escalating impacts of a warming planet, and the need for visionary strategic direction has never been more critical. That’s why this year’s conference shines a spotlight on individuals, communities and organizations leading the task with creativity, resilience and determination.
This isn’t just another conference; it’s a call to action. Attendees will engage in interactive sessions, participate in an inspiring art contest and expo, and dive into hands-on workshops designed to foster practical, real-world solutions. It’s a space to learn, connect and draw inspiration from climate leaders across various fields.
If you’re ready to be part of the solution, join us on March 12 and 13 at the Celeste Hotel in Orlando. Registration for attendees is already open here, as are applications for the art contest, expo and workshops. Let’s unite to transform ideas into action and walk the talk on climate commitment.
This is the moment to lead. Together, we can make the waves of change reach farther than ever imagined.
