The Invading Sea is developing a series of “bite-sized videos” that provide short explanations of environmental terms that people regularly hear in the news.
Robin Taber, a web graphic designer and content creator, is making the videos. Each of the videos describes a commonly misunderstood scientific concept related to climate change in about a minute with the help of digital animation.
“The mission is to explain concepts in climate change that many people wonder about but are too afraid to ask,” said Colin Polsky, a professor of geosciences at Florida Atlantic University who is associate vice president of FAU’s Broward Campuses.
Polsky is the former director of the FAU Center for Environmental Studies, which manages The Invading Sea. The videos made so far are embedded below, with more being added as they are created.
