The Invading Sea is holding a webinar Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. in which a panel of experts will discuss recent survey data on climate change and what climate and energy issues resonate with right-of-center voters.
The panelists will discuss ways to frame climate action, such as boosting U.S. clean energy manufacturing jobs, to build support and consensus on both sides of the aisle around climate initiatives. They will also explore how climate and clean energy issues can serve as important crossover issues in general election contests.
The panelists are:
- Colin Polsky, Ph.D., founding director, Florida Atlantic University School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS)
- Lori Weigel, principal, New Bridge Strategy
- George Riley, Conservatives for Clean Energy — Florida
The discussion will be moderated by Nathan Crabbe, editor of The Invading Sea. The event is free and open to the public. Click here to register. To watch, visit bit.ly/cleanenergymessaging at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
